The 2015 Oak Ridge Emergency Management Forum (October 14-15 at Y-12 New Hope Center) is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Oak Ridge Office (ORO) and Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA). Through the Forum, we communicate emergency management issues of current interest affecting the Oak Ridge Reservation, adjoining and neighboring counties comprising the East Tennessee region, and the City of Oak Ridge. It is an opportunity to network with other EM professionals across the State and in the East Tennessee area. Please visit our website.

Subcommittees and Working Groups foster information sharing and product development for the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) emergency management community.
The Group Status Criteria and Definitions document defines the different types of EMI SIG Groups and explains the criteria needed for a group to be granted subcommittee status.
More than 1,000 DOE/NNSA and contractor employees comprise the EMI SIG general membership.
Membership Roles and Responsibilites are defined in a document, revised January 2014.
An annual meeting, sponsored by the DOE Headquarters Office of Emergency Management and Policy (NA-41), focuses on information sharing about current emergency management issues and concerns.
The EMI SIG develops products and training to meet contractor needs and address common issues.
